Alalusi Foundation is a California non-profit corporation organized under IRS Code Section 501(c)(3), supporting humanitarian and charitable projects in the United States and around the world.
Our mission
Humanitarian assistance, wherever it is needed most.
We support humanitarian assistance, refugee relief, human rights awareness education, and related charitable work in Africa, Asia, the Middle East, and the Americas. Our activities have included sponsorships for orphans in Iraq; direct aid to refugee families in Asia and North America; school construction in Mauritania; preservation of medieval manuscript libraries in Mali; livestock programs for rural villagers in China; specialized medical care for children in the Middle East; support for preserving Native American traditional culture; and relief for bonded and indentured individuals across West Africa.
We also provide ‘start-up’ funding, guidance, and advice to a number of non-profit and charitable organizations in the United States and abroad.

Our founder covers the Foundation’s operating overhead personally. Every dollar donated goes straight to the project the donor designates — not a cent to overhead, expenses, or salaries.

Since our first projects in Iraq, the Foundation’s work has grown to include ongoing programs in Somalia, Jordan, Afghanistan, El Salvador, and Mauritania — plus past support for communities in China, Mali, and Native American nations, and relief efforts across West Africa.
